Warehouse Assistant (WA)

Secusafe is seeking a permanent full time warehouse assistant for the WA branch to start on the 2nd of May 2022.

Secusafe is one of the largest importers and distributors of CCTV & security equipment technologies in Australia, established in 2007. Secusafe is an Australian National Distributor for Dahua. Uniarch and AJAX wireless Alarm system.  Due to rapid growth, an opportunity exists for an enthusiastic and highly motivated individual to join our team as a warehouse assistant at our brand new WA branch.

Responsibilities

Generally speaking, warehouse assistants will be responsible for some or all of the following:

• Loading and unloading goods from Couriers

• Checking that the correct quantity and type of goods have been received

• Manual handling, lifting, moving, packing, unpacking and storing of products

• Organisational planning in preparation for stock arrival and shipments

• Maintaining correct inventory stock levels

• Packing of outgoing goods to ensure safe and efficient dispatch

• Maintaining general tidiness and cleanliness in and around the warehouse

• Assisting with customer delivers when required

• Daily reporting to the Operations Manager in Sydney

What are the requirements for this role?

• Minimum 1 year experience working in warehouse operations

• Excellent communication skills

• Have an eye for detail, high accuracy rate and a flair for juggling tasks and priorities

• Have a good level of physical fitness and the ability to lift and maneuver large and heavy items

• Good knowledge of warehouse operations and inventory management

• Experience in working both within a team and autonomously

• Customer service experience in any capacity

• Strong understanding of Workplace Health & Safety

Qualifications

• At least 1 year experience

• Forklift license is preferred but not necessary as you will be asked to take the course prior to starting the job if you become a successful candidate
